We’ve updated the Beach House menu, so that it’s better than ever

So many people come to us in Worthing because they know our menu is reliably tasty, reasonable, and homemade. So when we recently updated the selection on offer, we were careful to bear this in mind whilst making our menu the very best its been.

We’re famous for our burgers, and so we’ve spent some time improving the selection even further. For example, you can now choose from two tasty chicken burgers instead of just the one! One is a delicious marinated chicken burger, and the other is spiced, with harissa mayonaisse for an extra kick. We’ve also added some tasty salad options, including our N.Y Caesar Salad, with freshly marinated chicken breast and satisfyingly crunchy croutons.

In addition to our popular fish goujons and sausages, kids can now get grilled chicken breast strips, or houmous dip with cucumber, carrot sticks, cherry tomatos and toasted sourdough.

To see the entire menu, click here. Don’t forget we do daily specials too! Our kitchen is open Tuesday-Friday from 12pm-3pm, and then again from 6pm-9pm. On Saturdays it’s 12pm-9pm, and on Sundays 12pm-7pm.

Cosy afternoons and evenings with good beer and tasty homemade food sound perfect to us, and with the festive season just around the corner, we’ve released details of our plans for Christmas! This year, we’re doing things a little bit differently, but still in our relaxed Beach House style. We’re serving up a Christmas menu in Worthing as finger buffet platters, with the view that groups can enjoy a great time out without having a full on sit down meal.

To get the party started, choose from a set of mouth watering appetisers. Enjoy a cup of delicious lobster bisque for a touch of luxury, or a warming cup of wild mushroom cream soup. For mains, there’s a selection of platters that include chicken teriyaki skewers, local oyster shooters, pigs in blankets, open turkey sandwiches with cranberries, and more! Vegetarians are covered too, with rancini risotto cakes, feta filo parcels, stilton arts and suppli fresh mozzarella balls. There’s even dessert platters, featuring mini mince pies, and of course, a cheeseboard packed with local cheeses, biscuits, pickles and fruit. We can’t wait to serve up this quirky Christmas menu in Worthing later this year. The menu is available from 28th November to 23rd December inclusive, and pre-ordering and reservations are required up to 72 hours in advance to allow for careful preparation. The menu is subject to availability, but with so much choice, we guarantee something tasty for everyone. Orders must be placed in multiples of 6pcs.

Beach House Music Club Returns with Live Music In Worthing

Beach House Music Club is back with regular live music in Worthing on Thursday evenings

Tim Keegan, our resident musician at The Beach House, has been taking a well deserved break over the summer, but this week he’s back to resume his regular night of live music in Worthing with Beach House Music Club.

live music in WorthingTim is an acclaimed singer songwriter, perhaps best known for fronting the the group Departure Lounge, as well as his success with solo albums (Foreign Domestic and The Long Game), and strips strips down well known pop songs to reveal their acoustic potential. Drawing influences from Lou Reed, Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, Tim is able to put a unique twist on songs you already know and love, which is a joy to listen to. He and his team join us on a Thursday night from 8pm, which coincides nicely with our steak night offer – steak and a beer or glass of house wine for just £12!

Beach House Music Club provides us with a regular night of live music in Worthing that creates the relaxed atmosphere we strive for at The Beach House. Join us from 8pm this Thursday to welcome Tim back to our seafront bar. Admission, as always, is free.

The Beach House seafront deck is perfect to wind down after a busy day, and it’s made even more special by one of our carefully made cocktails. From the fruity zing of the Milano to the sophisticated Negroni, our cocktails are colourful, fresh, and most of all – tasty! There is of course a delicious non-alcoholic alternative, and that’s the very refreshing elder fizz. A more thirst quenching drink we’re yet to find!

There’s always something happening in and around our town, but during August, there’s lots of events in Worthing to choose from. From music events to carnivals, markets, kids activities, theatre and film, we’ve compiled a list of some of the most exciting August events in Worthing near The Beach House.

Worthing Museum and Art Gallery

August’s arrival means that the summer holidays are well and truly upon us, so kids activities are all important. There’s plenty going on at Worthing Museum and Art Gallery this August, with several kids workshops, including the Eco Tapestry workshop on 4th, and the opportunity to design t-shirts on August 9th! If you fancy settling down to something that’s guaranteed to entertain your little ones, Peppa Pig’s Surprise is happening at Pavilion Theatre on 17th and 18th – it’s just a stones throw from The Beach House too, so you could pop in and take advantage of the kids menu beforehand!

One of the August highlights in Worthing is the Rotary Carnvial, which takes place on the last weekend of the month. There’s a parade, a fun fair, plenty of stalls, and a generally glorious vibe – we just keep our fingers crossed for good weather!

It’s the first of a regular DJ night hosted by Utopia, which will be held on the first Saturday of each month. The very popular Repeat Prescription is also taking place at The Corner House on Sunday 28th – a Reggae themed afternoon of music, food and cocktails!

Utopia Beach Beats start at The Beach House

We’re excited to announce that Utopia will be joining us at The Beach House on the first Saturday evening of every month for a night of DJing and dance, something we’ve called Utopia Beach Beats, a fantastic DJ night in Worthing!

Utopia host local DJ nights that bring together like-minded music and dance lovers, playing everything from reggae through to drum and base. They’ve visited us before at The Beach House, and they always put on an unforgettable night of tunes – we’re thrilled that they’re making a regular appearance in our seafront bar.

Supplier Profile – The Real Patisserie

The people behind the bread and cakes we love at The Beach House

As we’ve mentioned before, we’re proud of the fact that we use local Sussex suppliers for our fresh ingredients, and they help us to make the tasty food we serve at The Beach House. One of our trusted suppliers is The Real Patisserie in Hove, and they provide us with locally made bread for our sandwiches, and cakes for our counter.

The Real Patisserie have a team of skilled bakers and savoury chefs, who bake artisathumbnail_image1n breads, authentic French patisserie and a variety of savoury goods, and we’re proud to use their products at The Beach House. Their famous fruit tarts are a firm favourite, plus croissants and pastries that go perfectly with a cup of freshly brewed coffee.

The artisan bread crafted by The Real Patisserie are all baked in a dry stone decked oven. This gives a wonderful crust and caramelised aroma, ideal for our sandwiches and sharing platters.

The Real Patisserie’s passion for quality baked products matches our love for the best goods and ingredients, and we’re proud to use their products at The Beach House. Why not pop down and try some for yourself!

We know how lucky we are to be perched on Worthing’s bustling seafront all year round, but this awareness doubles at this time of the year. It’s not just our sun trap seafront deck that makes summer in Worthing at The Beach House so special though…

So whether it’s a quiet Monday lunch, a Wednesday treat at Burger Night, or a Saturday night out, the The Beach House will be open for you. This is especially handy during the summer holidays – our kids menu will take care of small hungry tummies any day of the week! Don’t forget we’re dog friendly too.

Obviously our food and drink is our pride and joy, and we make sure everything on offer is delicious in the sunshine. We have regular specials perfect for summer (such as tasty fresh fish dishes), and a range of cooling beers that are best enjoyed on our seafront deck. Not to worry if you’re not a beer fan – we’ve got plenty of spirits, soft drinks, ciders, and, of course, Pimm’s!

This will be our third summer in Worthing at The Beach House, so we know it’s to be a lot of fun. There’s lots of events to see and do in our town over the summer months too! Pop down any day of the week and see what delights we’ve got for you to enjoy in the sunshine.

 

We Are Mountain at The Beach House

Worthing Artists Open Houses has become a big event in the local calendar for artists and art lovers alike. The event is run by artists, who come together to showcase their diverse range of work in venues across the town.

One of the artists taking part is the very talented Sophie Mutter of We Are Mountain, and we’re very lucky to have had her artwork put up at The Beach House! Sophie creates a variety of prints, textiles and gifts in a bold, colorful style, and a lot of her work echos our seaside location – perfect for our seafront cafe!

We Are Mountain’s work can be seen on the walls towards the back of the back of The Beach House. We wish Sophie and all the other artists taking part on Worthing Artists Open Houses every success!
