Live Music at The Beach House

Enjoy regular nights of live music at The Beach House

EW_11916If you’re familiar with life at The Beach House, you’ll know about Beach House Music Club, taking place on the first Thursday of every month featuring fantastic live tunes played by Tim Keegan and his musician friends in our cosy bar.

Added to that on the last Thursday of every month, Tom Walker joins us for a monthly live music set.  We first got to know Tom from playing at our Sunday Sessions in the Tap House, Shoreham, and could see how well he would be received in Worthing too and we weren’t wrong!

Thursday is also our Steak Night, meaning you can get steak frites and a beer or glass of house wine for just £14. Double win!

But if acoustic music isn’t your thing and you are up for some funk, soul and disco, head down to The Beach House on the second Friday of each month when DJs Inappropriate Handclap rock the Beach House with their lively tunes.

Brand New Live Music in Worthing at The Beach House

We’re keeping our Thursday nights of live music in Worthing alive and kicking

If you’re familiar with life at The Beach House, you’ll know about Beach House Music Club, the Thursday soirée featuring fantastic live music in worthingtunes played by Tim Keegan and his musician friends in our cosy bar. Though Beach House Music Club is on a well earned break, we’re keeping live music in Worthing on a Thursday alive and kicking with some Brighton based acts guaranteed to get your toes tapping.

We were excited to welcome Madi Lane on 24th February, and it wasn’t just a one off – Madi’s going to be joining us on the last Thursday of every month! Madi’s beautiful voice really is too good to miss, and she did a fantastic job of serenading us all with acoustic covers, as well as some of her original tracks. We can’t wait to see her again this month!

We’ve also got something pretty special planned for this Thursday (16th March) too. Areacode 273, consisting of Andy on guitar, Paul on bass (and guitar), and Richard on accordion, will be with us from 8pm. Areacode 273 (so called thanks to their Brighton location) will be playing a live selection of Blues, Cajun, Old Timey, Skiffle, Some Jazzy Stuff, Dylan, The Stones, Towns, JJ Cale, Hank, Willie, and Good Time Music. It’s going to be truly something different, and we’re very much looking forward to it!

Thursday is also our Steak Night, meaning you can get steak frites and a beer or glass of house wine for just £12. Double win! Join us from 8pm on Thursday 16th March to see Areacode’s debut at The Beach House, and as always, keep an eye on our Facebook page for news about live music in Worthing at our seafront bar.

Worthing Oxjam Venue

The Beach House is a Worthing Oxjam venue for 2016

Since 2006, October has been a month that the charity Oxfam dedicates to celebrating music in communities across the country, with the aim of raising money to fight poverty and suffering across the world. This month long celebration, called Oxjam, sees events take place across the country, and being a charitable bunch in Worthing, there’s one happening right here in our town. There’s three bars taking part, and The Beach House is proud to be a Worthing Oxjam venue!

14424692_1334061549939827_3918725475475650997_o-2On 29th October, live acts will perform at The Beach House throughout the day. With our reputation for the popular Beach House Music Club on a Thursday, it seems apt that we’re the event’s acoustic venue. There will be plenty of opportunity to donate all you can to Oxfam whilst enjoying the tunes. Not only will there be the great music to take in, but there’ll also be our well stocked bar on hand to provide refreshment, as well as the kitchen to serve up tasty treats throughout the day.

Across the UK since 2006, Oxjam has raised £2.8million, and we’re proud to be doing our bit to raise even more money. Join us on 29th October from 1.30pm for great music for a great cause. Entry is free, and kids are welcome until 8pm. #3events1cause
